Welcome to Wells Fargo Walk of Ages IX

RUN, WALK OR STROLL FOR THE JEWISH HOME

Plans are underway for the Ninth Annual Wells Fargo Walk of Ages. This exciting 5K walk/run is scheduled for Sunday, December 7, 2008 so mark your calendars and plan on joining us. This fun-filled day is complete with music, food, and clowns and is open to participants of all ages.

Once again, you will have the opportunity to win great prizes and medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners by age category and gender as well as to children under 13 years of age and to seniors 65+.

Last December, Wells Fargo Walk of Ages VIII drew nearly 1,000 participants and raised more than $300,000 for our residents. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever. Our goal is $400,000 and you can help us reach this goal. If you want to get involved, or know of any potential sponsors, please call Marilyn Bloom (818) 774-3344 or email marilyn.bloom@jha.org. We look forward to seeing you on December 7, 2008.

Wells Fargo Walk of Ages IX will start and end at the Jewish Home’s Eisenberg Village Campus located at 18855 Victory Boulevard, between Reseda Boulevard and Wilbur Avenue. Free parking is available on the surrounding streets. Additional parking will be available at the Sherman Oaks Center for Enriched Studies (SOCES) at the corner of Yolanda and Victory. A shuttle will be available to take you to the Eisenberg Campus.
